The entire ORGANIC SUPERFOOD PLUS formula is pre-digested in this unique culture for three weeks prior to bottling. We call this process "bio-potentiating" - and it allows for the immediate bio-availability of all ORGANIC SUPERFOOD PLUS' nutrients, upon ingestion of the formula.

Research suggests that Lactobacillus bacteria help to maintain the natural flora in the gut. It also shows the following:

Stimulates the action of the white blood cells

    Protects liver function

Decreases toxic overload from pathogenic bacteria

    Decreases pathogens in the intestine

May reduce some risks of bowel cancer

    Assists elimination and detoxification

    Reduces gastrointestinal wind

    Improves mucosal function

    Helps reduce candida infection

To our knowledge no other formulator has ever included these beneficial Lactobacillus bacteria in a formulation.

Once inside the body these friendly bacteria replace any missing flora and bacteria and eliminate any unfriendly bacteria that may exist. This process will enhance the body's ability to digest nutrients that you consume during your normal meals.

The 20 Amino acids.

What are they and how do they keep you alive and vibrant?

[ Amino Acids Page ]

Saccharomyces Cerevisiae and Saccharomyces Boulardii

Both these yeasts are rich sources of Vitamin B1 whose presence in the body is integral to Acidophilus being able to perform its tasks - mainly that of being supportive to the growth of the other "friendly" (beneficial) bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. As such, these yeasts are also used in third world countries for the treatment of Dysentery and Gastrointroidces.

Health Benefits of Saccharomyces boulardii:  Helps to protect the Gastrointestinal Tract from Cholera. Also alleviates Diarrhoea (especially when Diarrhoea is caused by Clostridium difficile, Crohns Disease and Travellers Diarrhoea). Alleviates the Diarrhoea that commonly afflicts persons with Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) [scientific research - 3 grams of Saccharomyces boulardii was administered to persons afflicted with AIDS with Diarrhoea of no known cause - within 2 days the volume of their Diarrhoea was reduced to 1 litre and after 8 days their stools were normally formed].

The Essential Fatty Acids

Linoleic acid and Alpha-Linolenic Acid are the Essential Fatty Acids (EFA). Called essential because they truly are essential to normal cell structure and body function.

These two EFAs are polyunsaturated fats that are not produced by the body and therefore must be introduced into the body through daily nutrition (food).

Diets rich in plant foods may result in lower levels of saturated fat and relatively higher levels of the EFAs. Both EFAs function as components of nerve cells, cell membrane, and a hormone-like substance known as prostaglandin.

Both EFAs are eighteen carbon length fatty acids. Alpha-linolenic acid's first unsaturated bond occurs at the third carbon, thus it is known as the Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acid. Linoleic acid's first unsaturated bond occurs at the sixth carbon, so it is known at the Omega 6 Essential Fatty Acid.

Some of the conditions that may be improved by the Omega 3 and Omega 6 Essential Fatty Acids are:

High Cholesterol levels
Stroke and heart attack prevention
Angina
High blood pressure
Arthritis
Multiple sclerosis
Psoriasis and eczema
Cancer prevention and treatment

ORGANIC SUPERFOOD PLUS is the one of the more potent sources of the Essential Fatty Acids in the world!  Fatty Acids play an essential role in keeping the cells healthy and functioning as they should. Cell membranes regulate the necessary passage of minerals and molecules throughout the body. When the cell membranes are functioning optimally, they prevent harmful chemicals, parasites, moulds, viruses and other dangerous organisms such as bacteria, from invading the cell.

Spirulina

Spirulina is the richest and most complete source of total organic nutrition in the world, containing over 100 synergistic nutrients!  Spirulina is nature's richest whole food source of the entire all-important antioxidant spectrum - and the only source of Phycocyanin - an immune stimulant.

Spirulina is nature's richest whole-food source of Vitamin B-12. It's 2-6 times richer than it's nearest rival raw beef liver! B-12 is practically a synonym for high energy!

Spirulina is nature's richest whole-food source of Vitamin E. It's 3 times richer than raw wheat germ, and its biological activity is 49% greater than synthetic vitamin E!

Spirulina is nature's richest whole-food source of Beta-Carotene (provitamin A). It's 25 times richer than raw carrots! Unlike the preformed vitamin A of synthetics and fish liver oils, beta-carotene is completely non-toxic even in mega doses.

Spirulina is nature's richest whole-food source of Complete High-Biological Value Protein.

Spirulina is also a good source of the natural enzymes so vital to our health because they assist in releasing the valuable nutrients from foods so that our bodies may assimilate them.

THE LEGENDARY AUSTRALIAN GRASSES

Green Barley Grass

Barley grass is one of the green grasses, the only vegetation on the earth that can supply sole nutritional support from birth to old age. Barley has served as a food staple in most cultures. The use of barley for food and medicinal purposes dates to antiquity.

Barley grass contains eighteen amino acids, including the eight essential ones. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, which are the major constituents of every cell and body fluid (except urine and bile) and are thus necessary for the continual cell building, cell regeneration, and energy production that we need for life. An added benefit of the barley grass proteins is that they are polypeptides; smaller proteins that can be directly absorbed by the blood, where they promote cell metabolism and neutralise substances that are bad for our health.

Barley Grass also contains a wide spectrum of vitamins and minerals. It is clear that the leaves of the cereal grasses provide the nearest thing this planet offers to the perfect food.

Barley grass also contains chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has been studied for its potential as a deodorant, in stimulating tissue growth, and in stimulating red blood cells in connection with blood supply. The chlorophyll formed complex compounds with the carcinogens (cancer causing) while they were still in the digestive tract, limiting their negative effect on the body.

Barley also contains glucan, a fibre also found in oat bran and reported to reduce cholesterol levels. The root contains the alkaloid hordenine which stimulates peripheral blood circulation and has been used as a bronchodilator for bronchitis. Barley bran, like wheat bran may be effective in protecting against the risk of cancer.

Barley grass also contains a wide spectrum of vitamins and minerals, protein and live enzymes. Among the vitamins are beta carotene and five B vitamin, including vitamin B12. Barley Grass also contains: folic acid and antioxidant vitamin C and vitamin E. Minerals include calcium, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. Lab analysis on barley grass has turned up more than 70 other trace minerals. Additionally, it has ideally balanced concentrations of the minerals, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium and Iron.

One of the important functions of these minerals is to maintain the essential balance between acidity and alkalinity in the body. When this balance is upset, cell metabolism is jeopardised.

Barley Grass is extremely alkaline, featuring nearly twice the alkalinity of spinach! This vital pH balance insures proper synergy between vitamins and minerals and promotes optimal assimilation of minerals. Richly imbued in Carotene, B Vitamins, Biotin, Folic Acid, Pantothenic Acid, Nicotinic Acid and the enzyme S.O.D. (Superoxide Dismutase) - Barley Grass is a powerful antioxidant.

Green Alfalfa Grass

Second to Spirulina - Alfalfa is the next true protein rich super food. It is complete with Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, F, and K, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorous, Potassium and numerous trace elements. With roots that grow as deep as 40 meters, it is abundant in balanced minerals, meaning they promote their own absorption. Alfalfa also contains many important enzymes and is high in Chlorophyll. A study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, documents that Alfalfa Grass collects and binds carcinogens (cancer- causing agents) in the colon and then facilitates their subsequent elimination. A proven cholesterol fighter, Alfalfa Grass also contains two chemicals that assist menstruation - Stachydrine and Homostachydrine.

Wheat Grass

Wheat grass is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin A and vitamin C. It is also excellent source of calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulphur, cobalt, zinc, and protein.

Dried wheat grass has three times as much protein concentration as beef. It can be used as a source of fresh, live vitamins for total health. It is also a concentrated source of chlorophyll, which has traditionally been valued for its wound healing, antiseptic and cleansing properties. Research has shown chlorophyll to be detoxifying and deodorising.

The nutrients found in wheat grass may be especially beneficial for those with an overtaxed immune system, especially if the weakened immune system is due to a diet lacking in deep green, leafy vegetables.

Wheat grass can also lower high blood pressure as the juice helps to reduce toxins from the body and gives the blood iron, which helps circulation. Because of its anti-bacterial properties, wheat grass is useful for the treatment of urinary tract infections, not only relieving symptoms but also boosting the immune system to prevent symptoms reoccurring. Its naturally occurring anti-inflammatory qualities make it an effective intestinal cleaner.

People who are allergic to wheat and wheat products are usually reacting to gluten, a sticky protein found in the grains of wheat, barley and rye. Wheat grass contains no gluten. The nutrient composition of wheat grass is quite different from that of any grain.
